AEON MALL Creates Meaningful Chinese New Year Moments Through “Prosperity Blossom” CSR Initiative
Bukit Tinggi, 7 February — In celebration of the Chinese New Year, AEON MALL Bukit Tinggi curated a meaningful festive experience that went beyond decorations and celebrations, bringing together cultural heritage, community spirit, and corporate social responsibility through its AEON MALL Chinese New Year Prosperity Blossom initiative.
The event reflected AEON MALL’s continued commitment to fostering inclusive celebrations that honour tradition while making a positive and lasting impact on the community.

A key highlight of the celebration was the Lion Head Donation Ceremony, during which nine (9) school-based and community lion dance associations received new lion heads. This initiative underscores AEON MALL’s dedication to supporting youth development and safeguarding traditional performing arts.

- Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Sinar Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
- Khuan Loke Dragon & Lion Dance Association Malaysia
- Hong Yi Dragon and Lion Dance Association
By supporting these associations, AEON MALL aims to encourage student participation in co-curricular activities, ease financial challenges faced by school groups, and nurture essential values such as discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among the younger generation.

The ceremony commenced with the auspicious Lion Head Dotting Ceremony, a traditional ritual symbolising vitality, good fortune, and new beginnings. The ritual was officiated by AEON MALL together with its valued business partners; The Film Engine, Toy World Malaysia, Poh Kong, ITSU, Souper Tang, and Hock Kee; highlighting a shared commitment to collaboration, cultural appreciation, and community engagement.
