UNIQLO Spring/Summer 2026 Redefines Everyday Wear Through “Intelligent Simplicity”
LifeWear designed for modern living, warmer climates and effortless style
January 22, 2026, Kuala Lumpur – Global apparel retailer UNIQLO unveiled its Spring Summer 2026 LifeWear Collection at an exclusive preview held at Café @ Laman Tuanku, offering a closer look at how the brand continues to evolve everyday clothing through simplicity, quality and purpose.
Rooted in the concept of Ultimate Basic, the Spring Summer 2026 collection reflects UNIQLO’s commitment to creating “Today’s Basics” pieces that incorporate seasonal trends while staying true to comfort, versatility and ease of wear. Guided by the LifeWear philosophy of clothing designed to improve everyday life, the collection delivers thoughtful design solutions for modern living in warmer climates.
The key theme, Intelligent Simplicity, represents a design approach that balances form and function. Designed specifically for spring and summer, the collection features refined silhouettes and smart material choices that offer breathability, lightweight comfort and relaxed fits. By pairing simple, well-honed clothing with the joy of colours and patterns, UNIQLO presents everyday wear that is effortless to style and wear.
Urban Rome: A Spring Wardrobe for City and Travel
Representing spring, the Urban Rome zone brings together style and comfort through versatile pieces designed for city life and travel. Featuring transitional pieces that carry through from the end of winter, the lineup includes short-length light weight outerwear, denim, ankle-length pants, knit polos and sweatshirts.
A deeper colour palette anchors the collection, accented with pops of green, blue, pink and maroon. Together, these elements create polished yet relaxed looks that support movement, layering and everyday functionality throughout the seasons.
Amalfi Coast: A Light and Breezy Summer Mood
Inspired by the Amalfi Coast’s reputation as a movie city shaped by generations of American visitors, the Amalfi Coast zone captures the spirit of summer through a preppy, youthful aesthetic. Styling reflects a relaxed seaside mood, featuring lighter fabrics and brighter colours suited to warmer weather.
This season, linen and cotton bring effortless comfort and natural breathability. Bright pops of yellow and orange infuse the collection with energy and optimism, perfectly capturing the easygoing spirit of summer living.

Timeless Essentials: Denim and UV Protection
Denim remains a cornerstone of LifeWear, evolving with time while maintaining its timeless appeal. Developed through the UNIQLO Jeans Innovation Centre, each pair undergoes a meticulous process from fabric development and pattern design to sewing, finishing, quality testing and quality control. Advanced techniques are used to achieve durability, authentic texture and long-lasting wear.
For Spring/Summer 2026, UNIQLO introduces three new denim silhouettes: Baggy Curve Jeans, JW Anderson Baggy Jeans and Baggy Jeans. Featuring updated fits, elevated finishes and clean lines, the latest denim lineup balances trend relevance with everyday versatility.

UV Protection is another key pillar of the Spring Summer 2026 collection, reinforcing UNIQLO’s focus on practical solutions for daily life. While sunscreen is an important part of sun protection, UNIQLO offers a convenient complement by integrating UV protection into clothing and accessories, making sun care effortless and stylish as part of your everyday outfit. This season, sunglasses play a stronger role within the UV Protection lineup. Fully refreshed under the creative direction of Clare Waight Keller, the collection combines comfort, functionality and modern design, with fits refined for both Asian and Western face shapes.
The lineup is organised into four design categories: Standard, Narrow, Wide and Active, catering to different lifestyles and preferences. All models feature UV400 lenses with 25 per cent blue light reduction, while selected Active styles include polarised lenses to reduce glare, supporting UNIQLO’s approach to head-to-toe UV protection
